Payroll is a constantly changing field with new rules, regulations, proposed legislation and forms being issued almost daily. When news releases are received from the various agencies, they will be posted on this site for your convenience.  However, we are not an official government outlet and all information should be verified by the official issuing agency before implementation in your procedures.

Many times the IRS or other agencies or members of Congress request opinions from payroll professionals concerning changes to forms, proposed regulations or new legislation that affects our chosen profession.  As a leading figure in payroll education and training I have in the past and will continue in the future to offer my opinion on such matters as the need arises. To assist others in keeping current with such happenings I am posting these opinions as time and space permit.

I will also post my personal opinion or commentaries on legislation that is introduced or voted upon by Congress again as time and space permit.
